France Rails timetable questions

Answers about train times, live fares and planning your journey.

Not yet. You can compare train times and check available live fares. Online booking and ticket issuance are not available on this site.

Fares are requested for your selected train and passenger group. They may change and do not reserve seats. If a fare cannot be confirmed, we ask you to retry.

The timetable source covers SNCF network data. Availability varies by route and date.

Open fare data does not cover every route or service. Timetable results can still appear without a price.

The planner accepts dates up to 90 days ahead for this MVP. This is not a statement of an operator’s sales window.

Explore our rail guides →

TGV INOUI · high-speed journeys

A useful option for longer trips between major cities such as Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Bordeaux. Compare classes and the conditions of the selected fare; onboard facilities vary by train.

OUIGO · compare the full trip cost

OUIGO Grande Vitesse and OUIGO Train Classique are different products. Check which one you are taking, the full station name and any luggage or seat options before comparing prices.

INTERCITÉS · beyond high-speed lines

Conventional long-distance trains serve selected routes, with overnight services on some corridors. Check whether your departure has seats or sleeping accommodation and requires a reservation.

TER · regional exploring

Regional trains connect cities and smaller towns, including trips around Alsace and the French Riviera. They are not high-speed services. Ticket validity and reservation rules vary by region.

Eurostar · across borders

Eurostar links Paris with London, Brussels and Amsterdam, among other destinations. For London journeys, check travel documents and the station arrival time on your ticket before setting off.

TGV Lyria · France and Switzerland

Connect Paris with Geneva, Lausanne, Basel or Zurich. Check your specific route, travel documents and onboard conditions; international services have their own passenger rules.

Read the whole station name

Paris Gare de Lyon is in Paris, while Lyon Part-Dieu is in Lyon. Central, airport and outer-city stations are not interchangeable. Include local transport time and check whether a connection changes stations.

Before you travel

Check luggage allowances, seat reservations and exchange conditions with the operator. Save your ticket for offline access if supported, follow its arrival guidance and recheck the departure board at the station.
